In Romania we have delivered a straw briquetting plant to a local municipality, where the briquettes will be used for sales to district heating plants and consumers. The project has been supported with EU funds and due to this, only one supplier could be accepted. The customer had required that the plant could be moved from one location to another with short notice.
C.F. Nielsen engineered a plant with complete system for handling straw in bales to finished briquettes. The plant consists of a shredder, hammer mill, stone trap, sand removal, filter installation, silo and a mobile BP3200 briquetting plant. The plant has a capacity of approx. 500 kg per hour.
