Consumer cases

At the end of the 90’s the demand for consumer briquettes for fireplaces and wood burning stoves increased and the demand for high capacity briquetting solutions grew. The growth was influenced by several conditions including:

  1. An increasing global focus on renewable energy
  2. Reduction of CO2 emissions, as biomass briquettes are CO2 neutral
  3. The high oil price and last but not least
  4. The convenience of the briquettes compared to alternatives

In the following you can read about some of the customer cases for tradional wood types ranging from 400kg/h to over 100.000t/year.

2 t/h Consumer logs from agri-raw material

Most consumer logs are made from wood-based raw materials; however, there are few exceptions – Miscanthus and wheat straw are some of them. Miscanthus is more similar to wood in structure than wheat straw and makes a good briquette.
