Briquetting press BP3210 is a medium-sized mechanical briquette press for professional manufacturers. The press is equipped with an advanced control system that allows internet access. It is possible to monitor, operate or search for failures and even to reprogram the PLC-function via an internet connection. All operation texts and failure notices can be shown in up to 16 languages. The log function is an important tool for analyzing and improving the briquetting process.
The Briquetting press BP3210 is a strong press with a sturdy housing made of high tensile steel, which secures a quiet and safe operation with low vibration level.
It is a very reliable press with a capacity up to 600 kg/h and produces a briquette with a diameter of 60 mm. It is especially suitable for production of industrial briquettes from dust like MDF as well as residues from other biomass.

Automatic start

Rice husk is residue from processing of rice grains. It is good for making briquettes because rice husk has the optimal moisture content of 8 and 12 % and granulation is also perfect 10x5x2 mm.

Because of those characteristics there is no need for further preparation such as grinding of drying.

Due to low level of lignin, it is not possible to make briquettes in bigger diameter than 75 mm without adding any binder. Although rice husks are perfect for briquetting, they also contain a high silica content, resulting in a high ash content. Briquettes from rice husk are most often used in boilers or furnaces with very high burning temperature to avoid a low silica melting point and sintering (crystallization) of ash.
